Divine Intervention was originally written to be filmed in Seattle, but as financing support in Seattle is not readily available, the company was forced to forge new associations with financiers and producers elsewhere and we found them in Ireland!
Section 481, formerly known as Section 35 is an incentive program for Irish film making. Ancient Pictures is presently working with an Irish production company to co-produce Divine Intervention in Ireland.
The story line of Divine Intervention is confidential at this point. When the film financing negotiations are complete, the story line will become public.
Ralph Feinnes and Minnie Driver are two actors we are approaching to act in the film. We are also discussing the project with Irish film director Neil Jordan.
